Construction workers have huge appetites
The average person is supposed to consume around 2,200 calories every day, which to some, may seem like a lot.
But did you know that if you work in construction, you’re likely to eat nearly double that amount?

That’s according to a new industry survey by trade insurance specialists, constructaquote.com, which found that that the average construction worker eats a whopping 4,000 calories every day!

The survey asked over 2,000 builders if they regularly ate unhealthily during their working hours. Shockingly, over 70 per cent said they did, with more than half saying it was due to not being able to access healthy food. Another fifth said that this was because they were being lazy with their diets.
