Are Isover products free from harmful additives or VOCs?
Isover products do not contain hazardous substances (e.g., carcinogenic, mutagenic, or toxic for reproduction).
Many of Isover's glass mineral wool products manufactured in the UK have achieved the Eurofins Gold standard for indoor air quality. This means both factory emissions and VOC emissions have been tested according to EN 16516 at regular intervals. Indoor Air Comfort Gold combines all key European and selected global requirements on VOC product emissions.
Do Isover products have Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)?

Do Isover products contribute towards LEED, BREEAM and WELL certifications?
Isover’s insulation solutions can contribute to multiple credit categories in LEED, BREEAM and WELL such as, energy, materials, resources, health and wellbeing, indoor environmental quality, and innovation .
Do Isover products meet UK Building Regulations for fire safety in residential buildings?

Please also read all information necessary to satisfy yourself that use of the product meets all relevant national Building Regulations and guidance as well as local, national and other applicable standards relevant for your construction or application, including requirements in relation to fire and applicable height restrictions.
Are Isover insulation materials made from recycled content?
Our Isover glass wool products manufactured in the UK contain recycled glass. This is a combination of 52% externally sourced recycled glass and 30% internally sourced glass cullet.
Other products which are imported to the UK vary in the level of recycled content. Please check individual products’ EPDs for specific levels of recycled content in stone wool and imported glass wool products.
Are all Isover products EUCEB-certified and compliant with Note Q?
Yes. All Isover insulation products are EUCEB-certified and are compliant with Note Q of Regulation (EC) No: 1272/2008 – you can find details about them here.
